A soft-sided carrier for a small dog: about 45 cm long, 31 cm wide and 33 cm high in the supplier's measured photo. The supplier's guide is for pets up to 7 kg. Mesh panels on the sides and top let air through and let your dog see out, and the openings zip shut at the top and the side, so you can lift your dog in from above or let them walk in.

Carry it by the two handles or on the padded shoulder strap. Inside is a soft pad, and a collapsible blue bowl with a clip comes in the box. When you are done, unzip and fold it flat to store under a bed or in the boot.

Choosing a carrier

Your dog should be able to stand up and turn round inside. Measure from nose to the base of the tail and from the floor to the top of the head, and compare with the sizes above.

Safety
  • Close every zip before you lift the carrier, and carry it from underneath as well as by the handles with a heavier dog.
  • In the car, secure the carrier so it cannot slide or fly forward, for example with a seat belt through the handles or on the floor behind a front seat. It is not crash-tested.
  • Never leave your dog in the carrier in a warm car or in direct sun.
  • Check the seams, zips and strap fixings regularly and stop using the carrier if any are damaged.

Pairs well with

For car journeys, a booster seat with a harness clip, or a seat belt tether.
