Push the metal tongue into a rear seat-belt buckle, set the length with the slider, and clip the swivel hook to the back ring of your dog's harness. Your dog can sit, stand or lie down on the seat but cannot wander into the front or into the footwell.

Safety
  • Clip the tether to a harness, never to a collar: a sudden stop puts the whole load on your dog's neck.
  • Not crash-tested. It helps keep your dog in place on normal journeys; it is not designed or tested to protect your dog in a collision. The Highway Code asks that dogs are suitably restrained in a vehicle.
  • Set the strap short enough that your dog cannot reach the front seats, the footwell or an open window.
  • Do not use it on a front passenger seat with an active airbag.
  • Check the webbing, slider and clip before each journey, and replace the tether if any part is worn or damaged.
